Hi, I’m Michael H.

I began my career at Better Basements over two years ago as a Tech. Shortly after, I was promoted to Crawl Space Lead, and then transitioned into my current role as a Project Advisor.

I got married in September 2024, but if you ask the government it was in December because SOMEONE lost a wedding certificate… I grew up in Oregon City and my wife in the Seattle area. We now live in Oregon City where we spend most of our free time going on hikes and abnormally long walks.

My favorite movie is actually a Bollywood movie, RRR, that my wife introduced me to. Would love your recommendations for more!

Fun Historic Portland Home Project I Advised For

We helped protect a historic home in Northwest Portland. This basement was at risk from moisture and had pool equipment that could’ve leaked 4,000 gallons of water. We installed a drainage system and channel drains to prevent flooding, making the basement safe to finish.
