Hi, I’m Cole

My experience at Better Basements is as a Project Advisor and a Crawl Space and Basement Tech. Before construction I was a Real Estate Agent for 2 years on a local team. I do miss the hard labor of crawl space and basement waterproofing, but meeting homeowners is really fun and I think Real Estate primed me for meeting homeowners where they are at.

I am newly married to my wife, Brooke (my boss’s sister actually! Making it a true family business I guess). We met at the University of Idaho where she was their soccer goalie and I ran track. We were both involved in FCA at the time.

My favorite movie is, The Martian. Who doesn’t love themselves some Matt Damon?

Fun Commercial Project I Advised For

A property manager needed help with a flooded crawl space that was in desperate need of repairs. We cleared out the space, installed two sump pumps with drainage, sealed off all the holes from animals, and added a new vapor barrier. Now, it stays dry, repairs are easier, and maintenance is simple.
